I am currently the Race&Gender Project Coordinator at WPU,as well as a Board of Directors member for the New Jersey Council for the Humanities; along with the above courses and such that I teach, I believe a broader understanding of technology is necessary to "speak" the language our students speak. Additionally, it's important to understand the ways in which Humanities (a field always in danger of disappearing) can grow from a frowth in techonology; for example, the ability to download hundreds of year old texts. Additionally, using technology to "frame" those texts is vital. Understand tech talk? Shakespeare did to. I am personally interested in strengthening my overall ability in technology to become a better Professor.
