I love Nicholas Carr and agree that technology has skimmed our surfaces but not yet facilitated us to plumb our depths. I think I could watch/listen to Slavoj Zizek talk about anything all day. His energy would never cease to entertain / fascinate.
I studied Political Science and Religion. I have been doing computers my whole adult life. I've missed my love of computers recently, but still find digital life fairly dull and removed from the depth of my real life. I want to bridge that gap by deepening my technology or my engagement with it.
