I'm an Associate Professor of History at Hofstra University with a specialism in 20th century Latin American history. My research interests focus on the relationship between politics and popular culture. Looking ahead, I want to think about the future of DL, open software, and data representation on my field. I'd also like to understand how to mentor our history students in the coming years - as they take a greater interest in combining technology with humanities.
