I'm a special collections librarian and reference librarian at John Jay College. http://guides.lib.jjay.cuny.edu/SpecialCollections. I am also an archaeologist and Art Historian specializing in the Ancient Near East. For the past 12 years I've been the bead, pendant and figurine specialist at a 6th millennium BCE site in Turkey called Domuztepe. http://www.domuztepe.org/
I ride my bike everywhere, am a community gardener, look after feral cats, am a very occasional participant in the Radical Reference Collective and am involved in the NYC Street Memorials Project and sometimes work on the content of www.ghostbikes.org
