From co-editing a journal issue on teaching with digital media, and from using discussion boards and listservs in my courses, I have some knowledge of educational tech materials but not enough hands-on knowledge. My research is on 19c antecedents of today's media -- newspaper scrapbooks, for example. As a feminist, I'm interested in how to get women's voices heard in our increasingly fragmented media environment with its micro audiences.
