I was a teacher from 1968 to 1997. I taught at all levels: K-University. I developed a test of listening comprehension in 1980 as my doctoral thesis. One experiences the world on 2 basic levels: mediated (i.e. TV, internet, radio and others) or 'real', hence my interest in how the net affects experience.
