I'm the data librarian and Manager of the Empirical Reasoning Lab (ERL) at Barnard College. The ERL is a new initiative of the Barnard Library developed to support the use of quantitative and qualitative data in the curriculum. We train faculty, staff, and students in the use of analysis technologies, we partner with faculty in the development of assignments requiring the use of data and data analysis technologies, and we offer consultations and tutoring support in the use of analysis technologies and the process of analyzing data.
