I am currently Communications and Outreach Associate at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST), the world’s largest LGBT synagogue. Before joining the CBST staff, I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and was president of the LGBT student organization, ALLIES. I also interned at the American Civil Liberties Union of PA, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and the Human Rights Campaign. As a freelance writer, I contributed to the Gay Rights section of Change.org and write feature articles for Next Magazine. I am queer, transgender, and a vegetarian. I live with my fiancee and our adorable cat.
