I am a second-year M.A. student at NYU's Steinhardt School studying new media (Twitter), pornography, and video games. I am interested in social media, gender construction and portrayal, and studying the Internet in general. I've worked as a Clinical Data Manager for a medical device CRO, as an assistant community manager at Codecademy, and I'm in the process of learning JavaScript, Python, PHP, and various other programming languages. I love Nicholas Carr, esp. "The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains."
